DENTAL VENEERS
COMPOSITE VENEERS
A direct composite veneer is a minimally invasive chair-side procedure which is completed in a single appointment. They are prepared by a dentist who applies multiple layers of composite fillings to the front surface of the tooth. In most of the cases, dentists do not even need to perform any tooth preparation, except applying an acid etch for 20 seconds. There is no dental laboratory involved in direct composite veneers procedure. Composite veneers are suitable for front teeth and should not be used in high load bearing areas.
Composite Laminate Veneers can be used for;
- Diastema Closure
- Discolourations
- Straightening very low grade of crowding
